Phase III Remediation Design / Cost Analysis
The final step of an ESA encompasses the completion of a remedial plan. The remedial plan includes evaluation of potentially effective remedial options, then selecting the most appropriate option. The remedial plan also includes liaison with regulatory agencies, public consultation, implementation & supervision of the approved remedial plan, and the preparation of a closure report.
Phase III or remediation design is necessary when hazardous materials must be removed. This stage is designed for individual sites and can be very intensive. Property owners are required to undertake numerous complex tasks, including project design specifications, provincial notifications and approvals, hazardous materials disposal, contractor hiring and project management.
A cost analysis allocates funds for cleaning environmental hazards or managing the site with the hazard in place. Cost analysis management goes hand-in- hand with remediation design to maintain or create a safe and liability free piece of real estate within a realistic budget . At Ontario Environmental & Safety Network, we understand budget constraints, and can work with you to provide comprehensive services with cost-effective solutions.
Environmental Air Emissions
OESN Ltd.s has been providing a wide range of professional services to industrial clients faced with air emission discharges. Our services are designed to help industries manage their plant air emissions through development of technically sound and economically feasible strategies for compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. OESN Ltd. works closely with pollution control suppliers and clients to select appropriate control technologies by checking qualification of suppliers, preparation of bid and management of the contract between the client and the equipment supplier.
OESN Ltd. also offers services in the areas of assessment and characterization of air emissions or odour from process, machinery equipment, and plant using a variety of tools and engineering techniques. We provide a tailor-made turnkey air emissions inventory software package to industrial clients including complete training on the use and modification of the emission data resulting from process elimination/modification. An air emissions inventory is compiled using engineering calculations, mass balance calculations, EPA-AP-42 air emission factors, and source testing results. Results of an air emissions inventory could be used for regulatory requirements or making regulatory decisions. As part of Environment Canada requirements, OESN Ltd. helps industries to prepare National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) documents.
We also use complex and multidisciplinary technologies to conduct risk and exposure assessments for human health impacts from toxic air emissions.
OESN Ltd. provides pretest plan and conducts source and ambient testing for compliance using prescribed test methodologies. This includes evaluation of test data, reporting of test results and liaison with regulatory agencies to secure approvals with respect to control orders and/or action plans.
